It is estimated that there are over 4 million cases of Work Aversion Disorder (WAD) in the United States alone. In the movie Home Alone alone, the two antagonists suffered from severe and extreme cases of WAD. For the afflicted (WADERS), this infirmity can be embarassing to say the least and debilitating to say the most. While their friends are busy clocking in and out of nine-to-five lives, WAD sufferers mostly remain in climate-controlled environments pondering what it would be like to be employed, but shudder at the thought of (let alone the actual act of) working.
This website is dedicated to Work Aversion Disorder awareness. Please take some time to look over the symptoms and effects of WAD. Remember, WADERS are people too.
